Judging by this, I guess both the male and female mc really love each other. But, due to Mutsumi being in a spy family. She didn’t acted upon it.
Also… Getting married already in the first chapter! It wasn’t fast because both party considered each other thoughts (Mutsumi not wanting to let Taiyo marry her because he had lost his family and Taiyo not wanting to marry Mutsumi because of how she feels and think about the idea). Also it looks like both of them have “real” feelings for each other.
I’m just reading the manga again. I have already read it another website… But, some of the comments there–in that website are really…*Sigh*

It looks like Taiyo wasn’t really weak at the beginning. He really is athletic and it was shown. As stated by Kyoichiro, Taiyo has good reflexes and when he protected Mutsumi from the explosion! A person can die easily. The first chapter (like Taiyo grabbing the ring despite the wires wrapped around his hand), his reflex when he dodged the knife that was about to stab him (take note, he was just waking up) and the fact that he protected Mutsumi and he’s alive from the explosion of the bomb–
This shows that he’s capable. I can’t believe that some people call Taiyo whimp and judge him in the first chapter, just because he can’t speak to his classmate and pass out when talking to them.
That guy might (it’s really obvious, but I don’t want to confirm anything yet) have ptsd and he’s anxiety went high! Also, add the fact that he had the mindset of not wanting to get attached to someone because he didn’t want them to die like what happened to his family.

Yup, yup. Right at the beginning, I knew Taiyou is a selfless character. Good thing, Futaba is there to remind him. How can Taiyo protect Mutsumi if he can’t take care of himself. Futaba is a good older sister.?

I actually wondered how none of the Yozakuras could see through Taiyo’s motivations for taking the exam. Though, it makes sense that the two eldest siblings would have a clue, much less decipher his intentions.
